Pistachios from Spain
Our pistachios come from the Castillia La Mancha region in Spain. In Spain, the problem of water scarcity due to climate change and wrong agricultural policies is almost everywhere. In the past, a lot of maize and cereals were grown in the region. These crops need a lot of water. Since the 1980s, pistachios have started to be planted again in the region. Pistachios are very drought-resistant and can survive for long periods without water. For this reason, pistachios are a sustainable crop for the region with low water consumption. About 30-40% of the pistachio acreage is cultivated organically.

Almonds
Since ancient times, almonds have been appreciated in many places for their taste, their firm consistency and, in modern times, increasingly for their nutritional value. California is considered the world's largest almond-growing region. Due to ideal growing conditions, including a mild climate, rich soil and plenty of sunshine, this state produces about 80 percent of the world's almonds, which are exported to nearly 90 countries. To ensure a consistently high-quality, nutrient-rich product, only state-of-the-art equipment is used in cultivation, harvesting, processing and packaging. The California almond industry places great emphasis on environmental and consumer protection and enforces strict food and grade regulations on the plantation, in the factory and in packaging.
Almonds are grown on more than 280,000 hectares of land in California.
Our organic almonds come from Italy / Sicily, there the almond trees are partly still in original, loose mixed cultures. Almonds are very rich in B vitamins and vitamin E. Compared to all other nuts, they have the highest content of calcium, magnesium and potassium, and they also taste incredibly delicious.
