Walnuts from France
We are convinced that walnuts from our neighbouring country France are among the best walnuts in terms of taste, quality and environmental standards. For this reason, we only offer walnuts in shell from France.
Walnuts from Grenoble (AOP) and from the Périgord (AOP).
We love their crunchiness. In France, the well-known walnuts with protected designation of origin (PDO) come from Grenoble and the Périgord and are sold dry in shell. A precious fruit that is easy to store.

France Auvergne - Rhône-Alpes
Good to know
Concentrated energy - this small light brown nut weighs just around ten grams, but offers a multitude of benefits due to its numerous minerals, vitamins and trace elements! The walnut is grown in France on the foothills of the Massif Central and the Alps, two regions with drained soils that receive sufficient rainfall to ensure the good quality of the fruit. The Grenoble and Périgord designations of origin guarantee high-quality walnuts that are cleaned, sorted and dried according to traditional savoir-faire. The Franquette variety is found in both regions, Mayette and Parisienne in the Grenoble region, Corne and Marbot in the Périgord.
Sportsmen put a handful of freshly cracked nuts in their bag to prevent cravings, but the walnut is also very good in delicious sweet or savoury dishes and should not be missing on a cheese platter or in a dried fruit mix as an aperitif because of its pleasant bite and delicious flavour... To the nutcrackers!
